Welcome home, sis!🫂

A movement for Black women’s healing, joy, and collective thriving.

The Black Women’s Wellness Club (BWWC) is a free, community-based mental health and wellness initiative where Black women nurture mind, body, spirit, and community, together.

Through a blend of online and in-person experiences, we make wellness joyful, accessible, and always rooted in culture.

Our offerings include monthly wellness challenges to keep you grounded and consistent on your wellness journey, a vibrant book club celebrating Black women authors and stories, in-person gatherings like our Sistah Walk & Talk, community picnics, and creative healing workshops, and virtual events such as guided meditations and sound baths, panels, talks from mental health and wellness professionals, and journaling circles!

Most importantly, the BWWC offers sistahood, a warm, welcoming circle where you’re seen, supported, and reminded that your wellness is not a luxury, but your birthright.

Be part of a growing community of Black women committed to living healthy, whole, joy-filled lives, while fostering meaningful friendships!

Always free. Always rooted in sistahood, culture, and wellness.

Meet the Founder!

Raven K. Gipson-Washington, M.A.

"I created the BWWC so that we would never have to walk this journey alone. This is more than a community initiative. It is a refuge, a rallying point, and a movement. My hope is that when you enter this space, you feel seen, held, and empowered to step into your fullest, most joy-filled life. Welcome home, sis."
